| Details: | Students will needle-felt a whimsical 8" Santa to use as a pincushion or holiday home decor in this fun & easy class. We'll learn basic needle-felting skills as well as a few special techniques as we create our Santas in a way that doesn't take all day. We'll also wet-felt a wool bead nose and hat topper, a technique students can use to create wool bead jewelry and more! A fun & creative class. Instructor will bring Santa kits as well as patterns with directions and also soap. Students should bring: 2" thick foam pad for needle-felting at least 8" wide x 10" long, single felting needle size 36 or 38, sharp scissors, pins, sewing needle, red & beige thread, stuffing tool such as a chopstick, small towel, medium-sized bowl, optional: multi-needle felting tool.
