Feathered Friends Placemats
These 14" x 20" placemats are made up in Woolfelt or felted wool and are easy to sew! They feature simple stitchery such as blanket-stitch and easy applique "feathers". The tail is a pleated napkin through a self-fabric loop, which can be purchased or sewn; instructions are included in the pattern for the napkins. A variety of colors can be used to accent your home: fall colors like the robin for autumn, lighter colors for spring, red for holiday and Christmas. You can also make just one and use as a center table-mat. Either way, they're sure to add a cheery note to your table!
